For engineering and product managers

English coaching for engineering and product managers.

Most of the job is talking. Running the meeting, explaining the trade-off, saying no, giving feedback that lands. When English is your working language, those moments should sound as sharp as your thinking.

Speak to the room.

Sessions are built around what you are actually doing. Bring the stakeholder update, the planning meeting, or the conversation you have been putting off.

01

Leading meetings.

Opening with a clear purpose, keeping the discussion on track, and closing with decisions and owners.

02

Explaining trade-offs.

Priorities, scope, and roadmap changes, explained for leadership and stakeholders in fewer words.

03

Saying no.

Pushing back on a request, a date, or a scope change. Clearly, with reasons, and without damaging the relationship.

04

Feedback and one-to-ones.

Saying the difficult thing directly, with the right tone, in a language that is not your first.

05

Presenting a recommendation.

A plan, a proposal, or a pitch that leads with the point and holds up under questions.

06

Bridging teams.

Translating between engineering, product, design, and the business without losing the detail that matters.

Rehearse before it matters

The real conversation shouldn't be the first attempt.

When something important is coming up, we practise it. You try it, we look at what got in the way, and you try again: shorter, more direct, or adapted for a different audience.

Corrections, alternatives, and the reasons behind them go into your shared doc, so you leave with the better version in writing.

One message. A clearer decision.

Broad

“We might need to think about moving the deadline.”

Clear

“We won't make the 15th. I'd ship the core flow on time and move reporting to the next release.”

“I didn’t need English lessons. I needed to sound as sharp out loud as I do in my head.”

“We role-played several types of difficult calls, so the real conversations were never a first attempt.”

A few questions.

Is this useful if my English is already good?

Yes. Most of my clients already work in English. We work on the details: finding the right words, making a point clearly, and sounding natural under pressure. Bring the questions you never quite get a chance to ask at work.

What happens after I submit the form?

I'll review your answers and get in touch to arrange your 30-minute session.

Can my company pay for the coaching?

Yes. Company invoicing or receipts for reimbursement are available.
