Your first version

“I don't think we can deliver everything by Friday.”

A more useful response

“We can deliver the core feature by Friday. To include reporting, we'd need another week. Which is the priority?”

Why it works

The first sentence is correct English. The second version makes the constraint specific, offers a choice, and gives the other person something to respond to. It works when scope and timing are open for discussion.

Meet Chris.

12 years and 10,000 hours in, I keep noticing the same thing: my clients don't need English lessons. They speak English. What they need is to sound as sharp out loud as they do in their head. That's what I help them build.

A few questions.

Is this useful if my English is already good?

Yes. Most of my clients already work in English. We work on the details: finding the right words, making a point clearly, and sounding natural under pressure. Bring the questions you never quite get a chance to ask at work.

What happens after I submit the form?

I'll review your answers and get in touch to arrange your 30-minute session.

Can my company pay for the coaching?

Yes. Company invoicing or receipts for reimbursement are available.
